Ok. So I have to ask the question. Do buffets always sound like a good idea to you until after you start eating it?
I have noticed that the last few times that I have eaten a buffet, I arrived quite excited about paying $15 for all I can eat. But as soon as I get into my first plate, I feel like the food is very greasy and nasty and I begin to watch others going to the buffet and I notice that we kinda all look like cattle coming in and grazing on a nice lush piece of pasture.
The worst part is that I continue to go back for a second plate and then desert just because I paid the $15 for the meal even though I am not enjoying it anymore.
And has anyone ever actually finished their second helping? I always clear my first plate but when I go back for more, I never finish it.
I think I am going on a buffet strike. Who is with me???
(P.S. The Ruby Tuesday salad bar will NOT included in my strike.)

I love the buffet line. I have good tips for staying slim while loading up on the buffet. If you cannot resist the buffet line, then no worries. Make yourself a manageable plate. After eating what you want, politely excuse yourself and go outside. Then, run around the block at least two or three times, do a few sets of push ups and add in some jumping jacks, sit ups, etc. The goal is to work off the calories that you just consumed. That way, when you go back inside and make another pass at the buffet line, your body is ready for additional caloric intake. For each trip you make at the buffet line, repeat the running, push ups, jumping jacks, sit ups, etc. You will experience a new sense of fulfilment with this simple trick.
