I make it a personal choice everyday to try to learn something. Sometimes, it’s simply a fact but other times, it is a principle or a concept to adapt to my daily walk with Christ, professional life, family life, etc.
I learn quite a bit from books, blogs, and talking to people wiser than me (that includes A LOT of people). But I wanted to know how do you learn?
I believe it is imperative for us to find people who stretch our thinking and improve our overall view of life and the Christian faith.
Drop me a comment here and tell me how you learn the most?

Honored!
I try and follow blogs that don’t agree with much of what I believe. It challenges me to think beyond my own “zone”

I hang out all the time with kids–young ones and high schoolers. If you want to learn something about yourself, look at yourself through kids. They are honest and, yes, it’s scary to hear the honest truth!!!
Also, I love reading the internet news–esp, the “Strange News” on yahoo and some of our local station’s web sites. If you learn from someone else’s mistake, you won’t make that same mistake.
Other ways: ask questions!! If you don’t know something about someone or something else, ASK!!
Read! Read! Read!!! (I am an English teacher, you know, I have to promote this!!) Read any and everything you can get your hands on. Then analyze it for truths and untruths; the untruths teach you more than you would ever know!
